R U OK? πŸ’œ

11 SEP | BY LOUISE MCCLOSKEY

Just wanting to raise some awareness, on a very relevant topic.

As a community, we are connected through football.

Our community is about people and belonging. In our community, we have a responsibility to the people in it.

To look after and care for each other, to make sure we are all safe.

We all have a role to play.

In our role as mates, team mates, parents, committee members and players we are asking you, to β€œcheck in” and ask someone, if they are ok? Just like you would, if that person had a physical injury.

Here’s 4 steps to starting the conversation.

1. Are you ok?
2. Listen without judgement.
3. Encourage action.
4. Keep Checking in!!

There are lots of resources online, to help with your conversation or if you are concerned for someone.

Thank you.
