Senior Coach

22 NOV 2016 | BY GEELONG RANGERS

The Geelong Rangers Soccer Club are pleased to announce the signing of Stuart Begg as Senior Coach for 2017.
After taking over the reigns midway through 2016, Stuart went the rest of the season undefeated to claim the State League 3 title. Stuart retired from Senior football in 2016 after 14 years and 362 games for the club.
He has completed his C Licence coaching course to further his understanding of modern day coaching and looks to complete his B Licence in the next year or two.
Stuart has the full support of the club and committee as he looks to strengthen his squad significantly in order to be a competitive outfit in State League 2 next year.
The date of the “meet the coach” night will be announced shortly and we encourage all current and new players, members and supporters to attend the event to meet Stuart and hear what he has to say about his plans for 2017.
We wish Stuart and the senior team all the best for 2017 in State League 2.
